DEPTH OF FIELD

ISO-800, Mode- AV, 1/160 sec., F/16., 18MM

Depth of field is the distance between the closest and farthest objects in a photo that appears acceptably sharp. Now your camera can only focus sharply at one point. But the transition from sharp to unsharp is gradual, and the term ‘acceptably sharp’ is a loose one, Without getting too technical, how you will be viewing the image, and at what size you will be looking at it are factors that contribute to how acceptably sharp an image is. It also depends on how good your vision is. I think the aperture is is 30, the shutter speed has to be 60, and the lens 50.

Aperture is about 30 and the shutter speed is looking like 60 and the lens look close to 50

Surrealism

I choose this picture because the picture or editing really caught my attention. The roots might have a clue that the house has real good memories in that house. I like that he edited the picture to be black and white it makes the picture to be old. The house does look like a family house that’s why it caught my attention, with the blending the house to the tree stump. I would overall rate this picture a 10/10 because it is real hard to edit and take a picture like that.

Camera Modes

M (Manual) is a mode for the camera where you could adjust the camera to what you would like it to be. AV (Apeture Value) is a setting on some cameras that allows the user to set a specific aperture value. TV is a mode where the user gets to control or specifies a shutter speed. P (Programmed Automatic) it is basicly helping you and has everything good for the type of shot you want. The green box is in full auto mode, the camera decides the appropriate shutter speed, aperture and ISO settings. The running man cathes movment like if the photographer is taking pictures for a athlete who is playing a sport. The flower mode shoots real foucus but not really it dosent work much. The mountain mode is for you to take pictures of something far and still so for the shutter speed and apeture to cath everything. The smilely face mode is for the background to be blured out and only the face of person to come out.

Angles

1/125 per sec, 36mm, ISO 400

I picked this picture because it has nice angle to it. The trees look nice. Seems like if they are in a forest. The trees have a nice color to it. Pink and brown are the leaf’s. The trees look to have moss. The moss could be texture to it. The picture is taken from a low angle. The background is the blue sky. Seems relaxing to be there. Seems to be a chill weather not looking hot. The season has to be in fall or spring. There is some type of hint of green leaf’s so it must be not cold. If it were to be cold the leaf’s would fall. The trees are in a angle where they seem real tall. Also seems like if they are high up. I caught my eye because the trees look like if they were close to each other. The low angle is the reason the photo looks alive. Overall I would give this picture a 9 out of 10. The time of day seems to be like if the sun is out but facing another way.

Shadows

Focal Length:30.00 mm, Exposure: 1/3200 sec, ISO:400 and also on manual

Focal Length:28.00 mm, Exposure: 1/3200 sec, ISO:400 and also on manual

Focal Length:18.00 mm, Exposure: 1/3200 sec, ISO:400 and also on manual

I picked photo of a dog with a shadow of him self jumping. The shadows are the dog and the selfie stick or tripod. The dog looks like a Pitbull breed. The photo is well taken because it shows the dog and his leap. Seems like if the photo is taken in the backyard but has the background a black and white effect. The has his mouth open and his shadow also shows it as well. The tripod has a phone or go pro taking a picture. The picture shows shadow really well and edited good for it to look like if the dog jumped real high. I also think the dog is jumping for a ball or something because his mouth is open. This picture reminds me of my dog at home too.

This photo shows texture by the little waves the pool has. I picked this picture just because the pool reminds me of summer. This photo might be success full because how clear the water looks and the photo its self.

What I learned about exposure

Aperture controls the area over which light can enter your camera. Shutter speed controls the duration of the exposure. ISO controls the sensitivity of your camera’s sensor to a given amount of light. The camera has so many modes like Program (P), Aperture Priority (Av), Shutter Priority (Tv), Manual (M) and Bulb (B) mode. Av, Tv, and M are often called “creative modes” or “auto exposure (AE) modes.”
